Mr. Robot stars spilled some details about the USA drama’s show creator Sam Esmail’s recent wedding to Emmy Rossum.
The cast spills the scoop on Sam’s wedding
The cast of Mr. Robot attended Sam Esmail and Emmy Rossum’s star-studded nuptials and recently told E! News some details about the ceremony and reception.
Rossum and Esmail gathered before their family and famous friends like Robert Downey Jr., William H. Macy, Christian Slater, Charly Chaikin, and Hilary Swank at the Guggenheim Museum for the reception.
Mr. Robot star Christian Slater described the wedding festivities as “beautiful” and noted what a great couple he thought Emmy and Sam were, gushing, “He and Emmy have a beautiful relationship. They both are phenomenally supportive of each other and to see them celebrate in that way was great.”

Fellow Mr. Robot costar Rami Malek chimed in to agree and said, “Sam’s wedding was phenomenal because you always expect the bride and groom to be a little bit nervous about that big day, and leading up to it they were pretty calm and collected. It was wild.”
Sam and Emmy’s wedding took place in the middle of Mr. Robot‘s production schedule, but the cast and crew managed to work well under pressure.
“Sam can handle so much under pressure, but having a wedding in the middle of shooting your third season is something I was quite worried about.
“But he did it with such grace; Emmy did it with such grace. They’re just a classy, delightful, sweet couple who knows how to have a good time.”No rush down the aisle
The celebrity couple’s wedding bands are estimated to be around $75,000 for both rings.
Esmail wore a black suit to the nuptials, while the bride wore an off-the-shoulder custom Carolina Herrera wedding gown.
The Shameless star’s engagement ring is a classic round-cut diamond platinum ring from the Art Deco Era. Thestunning piece of jewelry was made in France in the ’20s from jeweler Neil Lane’s archival collection of historical rings, according to People Style.
“I like that it’s old and I like to imagine who wore it before me and the life that they had.
“I don’t know the story behind it, but it’s from 1920 in Paris, so I like that I’ve inherited someone’s story, and I hope that it’s a good one.”
